“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching…” (Acts 2:42) “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom…” (Colossians 3:16) Weekly Bible Studies Bible Studies taught by CHC clergy or lay people throughout the week. Ladies Bible Studies The Holy Communion Women's (HCW) Bible Study meets each Tuesday during the school year at 10:00am in the Library of the Edman Building. A weekly evening Ladie's Bible Study meets each Thursday evening at 6:30pm during the school year in Lunt Hall. Men's Bible Studies The Men's Bible Study meets during the school year on Thursday eveing at 6:30pm, in the Library, and Friday morning at 7:00am, in Lunt Hall. Breakfast is served at the Friday morning class.
Sunday School Adult Sunday School Bishop Sutton teaches an adult class at 10:00am in Lunt Hall. The Fall is usually devoted to Scripture, while in the Spring there is a focus on topics related to Catechism and Conformation, such as the Creeds, the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, and the Thirty-Nine Articles. Pre-School For preschool children CHC offers the "Good Shepherd" catechesis, which is an introduction to Christian worship for our little ones -- 10:00 in the Edman building. Elementary The elementary grades (1st-5th grades), are divided into two sections - 1st-2nd and 3rd-5th grades. These classes are currently studying important passages from the Old and New Testaments. The curriculum being used is from the Anglican edition of David C. Cook. The REC Catechism is also used. -- 10:00 in the Edman Building. Junior - Senior High For children grades 6th - 12th. Currently they are involved in a study of S.G. DeGraaf's, "Promise and Deliverance." This study takes the kids through major portions of Scripture beginiing in Genesis and finishing in Revelation. DeGraaf was a Ducth Reformed Pastor/Theologian, so the study does a great job of emphasizing the revelation of God through the covenant. He takes us from God's initial promise to Adam to His deliverance through Jesus Christ -- 10:00 in the Edman Building Library. College This class is more of an independent study where the members discuss and decide what topics they would like to focus on. They do independent reading and have discussion during the class on Sunday -- in the Library of the Edman Building. Young Adult Class Young Adults invites anyone after college-age to early 40s to join Fr. Woodall in the Schleicher library of the Edman Bldg. They rotate topics and are currently studying the Apostles' Creed. We meet at 10:15 am and provide coffee and occasional refreshments. Deacon Smith co-teaches this class."
Cranmer Theological House CHC serves as the Dallas area satellite campus for Cranmer Theological House, an Anglican Seminary based in Houston, Texas.
